Linking Policy

Thank you for your interest in linking to the United Reform Party Canada (“URPC”) Website.

The United Reform Party Canada (“URPC”) provides various services to its guests and website visitors.  To that end, URPC operates unitedreformpartycanada.ca, urpc.ca, and 70reasonswhy.ca. It is from these sites that member companies are allowed to create profiles and post text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, and other materials (collectively referred to as “Content“) in order to display and/or promote or otherwise enhance the current image or service offerings of their companies.

The services offered by the URPC include any and all URPC branded URLs (the “URPC Website“), URPC embedded audio and video players and other applications offered now or in the future by the URPC in connection with the URPC Website (collectively, the “URPC Services“).

LINKING TO THE DSSLN WEBSITE

 

The URPC does NOT endorse companies, products or services, and strictly prohibits any suggestion of endorsement, recommendation, or superiority of one company, product or service over another company, product or service.

 

A third party (you) may link to the URPC Website, provided that the third party acknowledges and agrees that:

  • The link must be in a plain text-only format and does not use the URPC logo or any other URPC-related mark, with the exception of any URPC banners, badges and other marks supplied by the URPC for the purposes of linking (which are available for download).
  • The link must be displayed in a proportionate manner, spatially separated from, and not otherwise associated with, any sponsorship advertising, or other commercial text or graphics that may be on the page/area containing such link;
  • The site that links to the URPC Website (“Linking Website”) or the link itself must not be used as a method of creating an unauthorized association between an organization, business, goods or services (on the one hand) and URPC or the URPC Services (on the other hand) or otherwise misrepresent the relationship of URPC with a third party or the Linking Website;
  • The Linking Website must not imply that the URPC is endorsing or sponsoring any third party or its products or services;
  • The Linking Website must not replicate content on the URPC Website, except as allowed pursuant to the URPC Terms of Use; Agreement
  • The Linking Website must not present false information about the URPC;
  • URPC does not allow the framing of its Website.  When setting up a link to the URPC Website, the URPC Website must open in a new Web browser.  The Linking Website must not create a frame, browser or border environment around any of the content of the URPC Website, including any frame, browser or border environment containing any sponsorship, advertising or other commercial text or graphics;
  • The Linking Website must not contain materials that would violate any laws or contain content that could be construed as obscene, libelous, defamatory, or otherwise harmful to the URPC.
  • URPC may update this Linking Policy from time to time and any changes will be notified via an announcement on the URPC Website.  Such changes will be immediately effective after such notice has been posted.
  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Linking Policy, URPC reserves the right to deny or rescind permission to link to the URPC Website from any Linking Website and by any third party, and to require termination of any link to the URPC Website, for any reason in the sole and absolute discretion of the URPC.
  • The posting AND/or creation of any link to the URPC Website signifies that you have read this Linking Policy and agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained herein.

 

Further, the posting AND/or creation of any link to the URPC Website signifies that you have read the URPC Terms of Use Agreement and the URPC Privacy Policy and agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained therein.

 

LINKING FROM THE URPC WEBSITE

  • When the URPC Website includes links to other sites, and URPC does not assume any responsibility or liability for any communications or materials available at the sites to which it links, including responsibility or liability for their accuracy.
  • No link on the URPC Website is a referral or endorsement of either the linked-to entity or any product or service.  Such links are provided for reference purposes and convenience only.
  • The URPC does not provide links from the URPC Website to external commercial sites except as specified by a pre-existing sponsorship agreement/contract, partnership or other contractual business relationship.
  • The URPC reserves the right to add, modify and/or delete this Linking Policy at any time without recourse.
  • The URPC may update this Linking Policy from time to time and any changes will be notified via an announcement on the DSSLN Website.  Such changes will be immediately effective after such notice has been posted.
